My images begin with moments of reality captured by photography which are transfigured into the creative bliss of my imagination. This is where the impossible becomes visually possible. This is how my narratives are given life.
The inspiration for my images come from everywhere. Wherever I am, I see possibilities to capture with my camera. The images that I photograph and collect are an assortment of mismatched visuals. I reserve these photographs for future connections with images taken from distant places, diverse settings and different times. These images sometimes remain dormant for years, eventual germinating into visual narratives formed from my imagination. This is where the reality becomes the unreal, and the impossible becomes visually possible. This is how I become a storyteller, creating illusory imagery.
